Ooh I changed my uni course kinda because of Gazette too, liking Gazette made me take a Japanese course as an extra thing at my last uni, and because I preferred that to my actual course I ended up changing.
'ruki saying his best subject was english…*pats on head*' BAHAHA, yes that surprised me too, and made me wonder how bad he must've been at everything else XP
how difficult was it to change uni? I think I might end up doing that if plan A fails (which i think it will, considering that i'm just going to ring up leeds/sheffield and go 'got any space?' on results day)
Well because I was changing couse entirely I just applied through UCAS the same way you do if your applying for the first time, but instead of an A level based conditional offer I got one based on my uni grades for the year (which I epically failed to achieve because I hated my course, so they made me write an essay for them and I got accepted off of that instead), I guess I was pretty lucky they still had space when I applied because I didn't managed to until like May
( ... )
If my grades are good enough I will probably take a gap year and go through ucas, if not frantic ringing around in august it is! I asked them in feb and they were all 'nooo, no space at all' T_T I might try ringing again next week because they should have got some rejections already *crosses fingers* I guess i just send them an email with 'zomg look at all the amazing stuffs ive (sorta) done. plz be considering me' instead... I should be alright with languages because im taking one at a level and I guess that i can always refer to my holiday as a 'two week exchange'. Thanks for the advice! With any luck I will see you there in a couple of years XD
