anyone else hate the cold? i hate hate hate the cold. I can't wait to move to the warm and sunny FL. I check weather.com almost everyday. It's sad really. 42 here today, 82 there. I think I might take up scuba diving lessons before I move. I hear the keys have some amazing diving. I'd probably go out pretty deep once I get into it more. I ( Read more... )

I dive, I've been diving in the panhandle of FL, Mexico, and Aruba. The keys are supposed to be amazing, you're right. Where in FL are you moving? I'm jealous - I get to move further NORTH. But at least it's not Jacksonville!

I found out that there is actually some pretty good diving here in NC. Check this out: http://scuba.about.com/library/weekly/aa052600.htm

Some light shark diving in a couple of the spots. I want to go ahead and get a few shark dives out of the way so I can get over the phobia early. The sand tiger sharks seem to be pretty docile.
