Another Fuck You to the dudes in the pickup truck who almost ran me over while I was on a bike and told me to get off the road. I instantly reacted by shouting "fuck you!" to them and they responded with an attempt at throwing beer on me. Luckily, the joke was largely on them, since most of the alcohol flew back into the cab of the truck.

You should have yelled out the article which reads that you're entitled to the lane. Then called them in for having an open container in a vehicle.

I told them that I had as much right to be in the road as they did, but it did not really matter, because they were looking for a fight and that just gave more fuel to their fire. Also, I would rather call up friends than the police.
