I know society has skewed values when it hires security to guard its "waste". However, security guards are wage earners like the rest of us, and their shifts eventually end.

"hey guys, what's going on?"

"not too much, just dumpstering some stuff, what about you?"

I'm not buying that "they're wage earners just like us" shit. That's the same sort of shit cop apologists try to use.

I knew that someone would say that. However, my point was simply that they only perform their occupational duty during their shift, while they are paid for it. Weren't you thinking about working as a security guard months ago?

Sitting in a guard shack refusing to let people into areas they're not supposed to be in (and lifting the gate for people who ARE supposed to be there) is vastly different from guarding dumpsters to prevent people from getting food from them.

"So did you guys get all that stuff out of our dumpsters?"
"No, we bought it, now we're just hanging around the dumpster, it's a cool place."
