I knew this was going to be long - that's why I split the story into two parts, but I didn't think that this part will be even longer than all four earlier parts combined! Yes, this is what I spent my New Year's Day doing.

So sweet! I have to admit Midsummer Night's Dream didn't cross my mind when I thought of what plays could apply to Alfred and Arthur (although, mind, I was busy with our very own Merchant of Venice production! :D) but I love the way Alfred explains his reasoning. XD This was so perfect! And Arthur, how coy. :P
Great writing once again! XD

A Midsummer Night's Dream is one of my favorite Shakespeare plays, and after I poked around with the idea it seemed to fit (although I had the same reaction as Alfred, when I realized that the lovers were totally manipulated by Puck's elixir). The Merchant of Venice would have been an interesting twist, what with Portia and her chests XD
Thank you so much for all your comments! ♥

Also, I'm glad that there are people other than myself who take care of differences in period costume... still 18th century British gentlemen wear is hard to beat. Once again, amazing job!

Oh yes, the clothing for 18th century British gentlemen are so fabulous. That's one of the best things about Hetalia; you can put them in a number of time frames and scenarios and most of the time it can be canon ^^~
So glad you enjoyed it ♥

LOVELY
Omg I love Alfred trying to get his head around Shakespeare. It's like a middle-aged man trying out DIY, they know what they're trying to do, they just can't really do it. Unless they're awesome at DIY. But I digress. XD
Thankyou for writing this! <3

I'm really fond of this part, if only because part 1 was all about Arthur's emotions, and here you get to see Alfred doing his part to make Arthur happy. When these two are fluffy, they're really fluffy. Conversely, I think when they get into fights, a real proper fight, it's also be quite serious. But I have faith that they can work through it ♥
Alfred was being so adorkable in my head while he was trying to explain Midsummers.
Thank you for all your comments! I love talking to fellow fans like this ♥

I'm torn! I love both of them trying make each other happy so much; fluffier than a bunny rabbit. (And I don't know where that came from)
Adorkable was a word just MADE for ALfrred. :D
No problem! I love to hear your opinion on your writing, and what you were thinking as you wrote! *takes notes on how to write good fanfiction :)*

As much as I love the drama and the clash between them, I really wanted to write them being happy because goodness knows we can never have enough of that. They've fought enough in canon - let's give them more~ Well, chibimerica has pet rabbits, and chibirisu had a couple of bunnies around when he was younger - they're both bunny people? XD
Ahahaha, my methods of writing fic are all over the place - I usually start with this one scene or image that just pulls at me (this fic started with the image of Arthur clasping a sleeping Alfred's hand up in the theater balcony). Then, I just sort of write everything else to get to that one moment. And usually in the process of writing, I get inspired with other images/scenes (Alfred quoting Midsummer was one). The characters don't shut up once they get a foot in my head XD.
You're so fun to talk to. May I friend you? =D
