Have fun with it. I think it's the only significantly long piece I've ever finished - it clocks somewhere in the 52K range, I belive.

Hey, I just wanted to comment that I loved this story and was checking every day for new chapters. I still haven't recced it yet, because it makes me too flaily to figure out what to say, but I will, oh I will.

Just wanted to say I've finished reading your fic this afternoon and I loved it. It was recced by half my flist so I thought I better catch up and wasn't disappointed! The characters were just as enjoyable to read as they are to watch on screen and I could hear them perfectly in my head. Thanks for keeping their flaws as I'm sure you know many writers gloss over them, when we all know it's their flaws that make them real to us. Not much more to add than everyone else and I'm rubbish at doing the whole feedback thing, but thanks for writing it, it was a joy to read.

I read this over the weekend and enjoyed it very much.
You made the most of what little we've seen of Ianto - very believeable and I really felt for him.
I wish they'd do something about those damn cells!
Even for the Weevils - have they never heard of environmental enrichment?
And tentacles!
That was very hot, with the long build-up.
I'm so glad they got Ianto back, but also that Jack was open to him - as I'm sure he would have been. Only surprised it took him so long!

Just a small point - for the future - "gotten" is a very american way of saying/thinking.
I suspect Ianto would be much more likely to think/say "got", rather than "gotten".
