One of the nation's largest egg-producing companies has initiated a nationwide recall of eggs packaged from May 16 through Aug. 13 because of concerns they could be contaminated with salmonella

even if I don't live in USA, I'm happy to have my own hens!! :)
Still, it's always a little scary this kind of things!!

Yeah it is scary. I don't really eat eggs much (unless they're in something else, heh)...but I figured I'd post if anyone hadn't heard about it.

Unfortunately for me I have already eaten half of the eggs out of the carton in my fridge so if my eggs are contaminated(although I believe that's unlikely since I specifically buy the brand that is mostly locally produced) I've already been exposed.
