Well, despite my best efforts, Xanatos finally managed to break 1,000 comments. Somehow. And, bizarrely enough, Spirit just managed to break 6,000. (Setting the world on fire when it comes to commenting, that's me!)

So as I understand the procedure, such events should have their observances marked by a Relationship Meme. Xanatos and the Spirit are

And I'll answer anyway! I really think Xanatos is charmed by Makino (though he might not admit it). He appreciates her... I don't want to say "simplicity," because that sounds like a bad thing... her down-to-earth-ness, maybe? I mean, he's a guy who runs a multinational corporation while simultaneously plotting to manipulate monsters from Dark Age Scotland into unwittingly doing his bidding; having someone around whose greatest concerns are stuff about school and annoying boys and family troubles is kind of refreshing and surprisingly not tedious.

Plus there's the fact that he likes her spunk. She's bright and determined and (unfortunately, from his perspective) forthright, and I think he's reminded a little of himself (the proudly self-made man) by her drive and work ethic. She's probably the closest thing to a friend he has in Camp, but that doesn't mean he thinks of himself as her buddy. He's investing in her, and whether he gets an assistant or a companion or a character witness should the need arise, he considers her worth it.

I am sad that Xanatos and Taiga haven't threaded in forever but what's his opinion on my (now ex) end-boss?

If Thor has opinions on mine (Zanki, Doyle... Harper but they haven't threaded in forever, maybe Taiga) I wouldn't mind hearing them too :D

... in conclusion I should make more of an effort to thread with you because threading with you is awesome.
