it is better to proceed with barely any direction if the closure is forced and not true closure.

I would still proceed since there is still a tiny amount of direction. Closure brings missed opportunities.

I've found that you can't proceed with barely any direction, or with shit-tons of direction for that matter, if closure isn't achieved...
