Oddly enough despite every other death story making me really sad, I'm completely okay with hers. It's strange. I was going for painful and gory (how can you not with the description of a death as very gruesome and by the DL himself?). <3

I love to see real, serious dueling between competent withces/wizards! Although Amelia knew she didn't really have much of a chance, she fought so valiantly that I somehow forgot to be sad about her death. Instead, I'm thoroughly in awe of her now :)

Your writing was so powerful that I was so immersed in the fight that it felt almost like I was there. From now on, this is canon for me :)

I like to think it would have gone something like this if her death had fully been described beyond vague but intriguing references to a very gruesome death at Voldemort's hands that was given in the book.

Thanks! I was definitely going for brutal since one of the only details about her death was that it was a really nasty murder and obviously the Dark Lord isn't going to go easy on anyone who put nearly all of his followers in Azkaban.
