Yeah! You are back. What a sweet chapter too. The Doctor is besotted to say the least. I love how you worked in Torchwood as the Inn and Robert (of Tooth and Claw fame) as the Innkeeper.

I find this so adorable. I am so glad they have been able to get to know each other a bit more:
She smiles fondly at him once he looks up at her face. “You certainly are a cuddly thing when you’re sleeping,” she teases as she shifts to sit up a little straighter on the bed. “I expected you to be asleep longer honestly,” she adds as she reaches up to cup his cheek. “I’m sorry you’ve not been sleeping well these past two nights.” He bites back a comment about how he won’t be tonight either but can’t help grinning slightly at the thought.

I like how you have shown us how much the Doctor loves Rose's sense of wonder and awe at experiencing new places.

Merry Christmas! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was having a really hard time deciding who should be the Inn Keeper and so I was really excited when I realized I could use Sir Robert. I've gotten my ideas for the next couple of chapters sorted out now so they should be up fairly quickly over the next couple days. I'm going to try to get two more up today in between relatives visiting and such.

Hooray I was so excited to see a new chapter. This is beautiful and the best twist on a romantic novel I've ever read. I secretly adore Barbara cartland (Yes i'm sad I know) but I'm really loving this adventure between Rose and the Doctor and their relationship.
