A very nice story. You have captured the UD so well. The Doctor is sure trying hard to convince himself that he isn't falling for Rose. The episode is full of some many great moments.

I enjoyed this:
His arm stays firmly wrapped around her waist though and her fingers brush the lapel of his jacket and he knows this isn't the way he's supposed to be holding a girl who is his charge. Still he doesn't let go.

They really couldn't let go of each other even to let Charlie boy into the room for a better view!

Thanks! It really does have some fantastic shipper moments. I'd forgotten about a lot of them until I rewatched it today.

That moment in particular is one of my favorites. I watched it multiple times and just kept staring at their hands because it's just so adorable.

There are so many lovely, wonderful things to come from then_theres_us and this is certainly one of them.

I'm on a really big Nine/Rose kick at the moment, and this is just so lovely, it makes me sigh happily :)

It manages to capture the tone of the episode so well, too, that I really, really want to go and watch it. Alas, I have Sunday-chores to do :(

Aw, that's too bad. Even though I just watched it yesterday I'm probably going to rewatch it again today, though I suppose I have chores I ought to do first as well. Oh well. I'll find a way to make time. Haha.

Thank you! I'm glad you thought it was in character. I'm always a bit worried about that when I write fics from the Doctor's perspective but this one just sort of came naturally. :)
