Sick to my stomach...
In my last post, I mentioned that watching Hacking Democracy left me feeling sick to my stomach.
I meant that literally, but, apparently, it wasn't the video.
At midnight, I started having stomach pain. At 2am, my stomach was in agony (a 4 on the 1 to 10 pain scale). I vomited, felt a little better, but the pain kept increasing. I peaked at about a 6 at 4am when Rozz started vomiting.
Great. Food poisoning. I'd never had food poisoning this agonizing before. Sure, I've had the rumbly belly with a chance of severe squirts, but never like this. Realizing what was in store for Rozz, at 4:30 we were all in the Prius on the way to Dominican hospital. Rozz and I were treated for gastric woes. He fared slightly better than I did; they had to put me on an IV to get me hydrated again... The pain kept up until about 9am, when it started to disappear. We were discharged at around 10am. I'm never eating yellow squash again.
