A/N: Completely au-I'm pretty much destroying the timeline of the show for my own use. lol
Mr. Bennett felt his heart skip a beat when he saw the room his daughter had left.
"What were you doing in there?" Claire shrugged.
"I ran out of paper for the banner so I went to look for more."
"You could have waited for me." Mr. Bennett reponded, gritting his teeth. Claire nodded.
"I know, I'm sorry. Can I ask you a question though?" She thought how best to phrase, 'Why do you have a creepy man locked in a cell in a paper company?' But realized there really was no good way. "Why is there...there's a guy," Mr. Bennett nodded understandingly.
"Did you talk to him?" Claire shrugged.
"A little. Why?" Putting his hand on the small of her back, Mr. Bennett guided her down the hallway.
"Maybe you shouldn't come visit me here anymore." Claire looked up at him, her face indignant.
"Why not?
"It's not safe."
"At a paper company?"

'It's not safe.'
Her father's words played over and over in her head as she tried to sleep that night. She knew her father was just trying to protect her, but she was tired of being babied.
'Don't worry Claire-Bear. I don't bite.'
Who was that man in the cell? He looked so familiar, and he knew who she was. Was he like her? She needed to know.
