Maia had left Polgara in her tree maybe cos it's happening righ now and wandered around in the park again. She saw Rose ahead of her and she frowned a little, Rose didn't seem to be her usual bubbly self that never seemed to sit still.

"Hey." She said with a gentle smile.

Rose jumped, startled a little by the sound of Maia's voice. "Oh, hey. Hi, babe," she said, smiling at Maia. "Wotcha doin out here?"

"I was actually scouting a place for us to have a picnic when the weather gets nice and then I ran into a friend of mine. What are you doing out here?" Maia glanced around seeing only Rose and the ducks.

She shrugged, trying to shake it off. She really didn't want to tell Maia that she was feeling restless and missing the Doctor. "Just wanted some air, I guess."

There is a black dog watching the ducks, they're not being bothered by her and she's not bothering them. The german shepherd pup pads over to Rose, and just sits by her, head on the edge of the bench.

There also happens to be a Jack that isn't far behind.

Rose looked over at the pup and smiled, scratching it behind the ears. "What're you doing about with no one attached to you, hm?" She looked up and saw Jack not far behind, and a bright smile lit up her face. "Hey, stranger! Been a while, yeah?"

Maia saw the way Rose's face lit up and she frowned a little as a stab of jealousy rose up in her. She nodded at Jack and then slipped her hand into Rose's free one.

The dog is quite content with the attention she's getting.

"Been around." A smirk. "Got a present." He points to the dog. Then he looks at Rose, something was up. "How you been?" He sits next to her.
