All that to read from my last post, and I've also downloaded Amazon Kindle on my new phone and Sherlock Holmes and Les Miserables after watching the 25th Anniversary Concert on TV. I like when opposing sides sing angrily about each other in harmony.

And maybe some West Side Story, too.

And yes, there is always something lost in translation but that's just language. I hate it (and this is a completely random rant) when people always say that other languages are so beautiful while English is just so blah because English, just like other languages can lose value too. Espcially what you were saying about the rhythm of a language. Dr. Seuss isn't as awesome in turkish!

Ooh west side story, nice contribution! I'll have to find a soundtrack later.

One thing I like about English (at least, I THINK this is true. Otherwise, my mind may have just melded together random things from Linguistics lol), is that we actually have so many words, like with different connotations and things, that thesauruses have use. There's not just one word for everything.

Omg, this is making me remember other random things like long German words and how other languages how words for things we don't hahaha. Is there such thing as Turkish Dr. Seuss!?
