It was a good long while before Yuuta managed to maneuver his wayward companion to a more tempting prize: yakiniku. Haku gave a mental equivalent of an eyeroll, but followed easily enough, having already expended his energy earlier. Plus he'd had his fill at the American barbecue and was in a generous mood. For an annoying wolf.
Yuuta nearly tripped over his own feet when his eyes landed on the scene at the yakiniku grill. With his brother. And Atobe.
His brother and Atobe standing so close that even air couldn't squeeze in between. Then Haku's sharp hearing picked up something else, and -- Kei?
A moment of complete chaos passed with their thoughts mixing freely, then a series of clearer thoughts emerged. Grilling generally didn't require two people handling the same piece of meat. Family members didn't stand that close, unless they were Ryou and Atushi. Shuusuke was calling Atobe by his first name (hell, a nickname) and, in fact, had been doing that for a while.
Yuuta was just about to go over and demand what the hell was

Fuji caught the flash of movement at the corner of his eye and turned to see Yuuta walking away with Haku. Briefly, he considered pursuing his brother --food was always a promising lure-- but then let him go.
If he had read the line of that retreating back correctly, Yuuta might be coming for dinner sometime next week.
