i feel like it should be considered criminal to take away a person's scholarship (full-ride, might i add) without so much as one word of warning. especially when that person has nearly a 3.8 gpa and is in her last semester at the university.

ladies and gentleman, that is exactly what happened to me today.

my hope hours seem to have run out, even though i was assured about 5 times that they weren't going to before i graduated (i have credit from high school... which aparently counts towards hope even though my high school was paying for it). and without so much as a letter or an email or anything, they took all of my loan money (which pays my rent...) and were like "tough shit, dude."

they have to give you some sort of notice, right?

nope, they don't have to give a notice. they dropped 10,000 students last semester without any notice at all. my school is a fuckass.
