28 people in Berkeley on sunday. i am A5. sponge is running the show since phonerz is currently holed up in a secret location recovering from his ailments. my thought going into this tournament is that pretty much ANY good result will constitute success, since i am not feeling all that well. i am well medicated and unfit to operate heavy machinery

GHARIAL sounds like a mash-up of antelopes (ARGALI, GOORAL and BHARAL)... but is in fact a crocodilian. Also GAVIAL.

No penalty for missing it as it is not an antelope.

you know, you may have to start compensating the director a little more for those good tiles he's slipping you. People might grow suspicious when they see - what? conrad is directing the april one-day instead of XP?

yeah, i think one of the big differences is discovering that more games are winnable than it first appeared, like that game with Charles. i've put myself in position lately to take advantage of opportunities.

Nice job, and you could have easily finished in first. My final game against Doug ended pretty randomly, since I didn't know if I just needed to win, or if I had to win by a certain amount.

I didn't know if I should try for a bingo, just try and score, or play it really safe and block the triple-triple line as quickly as possible.
