good New Mexico pal Geoff is in town for a conference, staying at the Nikko downtown, so we went for sleazy Indian food and then beers at Johnny Foley's afterwards. ...it never fails to amuse me when the roots of the adjective PEDESTRIAN are laid bare. Best filmic example, at least for us non-left-coasters, is probably L.A. Story, when Steve Martin's character gets in his car and drives to visit... his next-door neighbor. Great stuff.
