Basically, the post that answers your questions, and random things that I have done in Japan.... uh. Yeah. I have too many on facebook, and I didn't update LJ fast enough, so I can't show you everything. :'D Anyway, questions first...?
bluerose83 asked: How are you adapting to the new environment? Are you in the city or in a rural area? How's the food?

And ugh, I hate the people who go to a foreign country without bothering to try to learn at least some of the language and just expect them to understand English >.<. It's so arrogant.

Well, I don't think of it that way. I've been to 17 countries, and tbh the only thing I can speak is English, and half of them were European countries, and I don't know French, German, Slovakian, Hungarian etc so I can't speak them. I can't be expected to learn so much before going there. I don't expect them to know English, and I'm expecting a language barrier already. That doesn't make me arrogant. :| Besides, they're tourists, and one of the maids was still using Japanese, but massive hand gestures to communicate as well.

The swirly glasses are lovely. xDDD
Shinjuku looks so bright and lively~ MMMM, all the food looks good!
TSUNDERE PARFAIT, what. xDDDD Awww, the bunny-shaped foodie-thing is cute.

Those glasses are hilarious! For the price though, I'm not buying it. :')
Yeah, Shinjuku is a huuuuuuge area for party, shopping etc so it's very very busy even after 12am I think.
Yes. xD Maybe 'cause there was both sweet and sour mixed in. It's a maid cafe, so the things have to be cute~ :)

Aww, shame about the price. xD
Yeah! I'm only aware because Don Dracula hated Shinjuku because it was too loud and noisy and he couldn't prey on humans because they were too busy partying well into the night... and Chocola's like "father, people in Shinjuku don't sleep!" xDDD;
Oooh, I love sweet and sour things~

LOL THAT IS SO RANDOM
XD That parfait will be perfect for you though! It's probably sorbet and ice cream together.

I was in shock that my name was up there, then I remembered, I did ask you something like that huh?
And the Bamboo trees looked huge! I love bamboo for some reason. I wish I could grow some :/
And yeah, who doesn't love gin-san. I want a glass too :(
And the food *drools*
Reply
LOL yes you did! Yeah, the bamboo trees are pretty large. I had some in my garden before, though the bark of it was more of brown, rather than this grey-ish white-ish color. :P
GIN-SAN IS AWESOME.
Food's good, food's good! Japanese food is great, and Asian for me, so I like it.

Those desserts look so tasty even though they cost so much but I guess the overall experience would be worth the price just to see how it is.
Looking at all that food has made me super hungry now. *off to cook breakfast*
Thanks for sharing so many pictures and some of your experiences in Japan.

YEAH. Cost a lot, but combined with the experience and overall atmosphere, I suppose it was kind of worth it? :'P
Have a great meal~ ;)
No prob!

Can I request some at the butler cafe also?

Haha, well, I intended to take some food pictures at the butler cafe as well and maybe write a bit about it too (since I'm using this both for my group project and report of this module).
