Adrenaline rush and heart thumping earlier on aside, I feel all weak in my hands that they're just literally gliding over the keyboard not distinctly finding the right keys. Oh God, mind blanks - I completely get you on that one >.<. I hate it when that happens. Your mind just goes completely blank - it's agonizing. I hate oral language tests, so good luck. And I know that in Japanese society persistant eye contact is actually regarded as disrespectful or threatening behaviour; the Japanese tend to look and then look away - while in European countries a lack of eye contact is often preceived as disrespectful or a product of shyness, in Japan persistant eye contact is treated as disrespectful and an intrusion of someone's personal space. That might be why he didn't bother with eye contact.

No, with presentations it's different and it's important to maintain eye contact for presentations. That's the only bit that's important but if just every day normal lives then yeah, it's not necessary to keep staring at people.

But aha this time the both of them did things the other way around not what I expected which surprised me. Oeda-sensei usually has more eye contact with all of us while Morimori doesn't, but haha 180 degrees turn! It was surprising.
