RSS is like a platform where they gather data from a source and send it to, um, email?, and people can read it. The locked posts don't show up. It's just subscribing to read a blog/something and you are sent a mail with most of the contents on every update.

....Veryyyyy olddddddd something like MSN and skype etc but the much, much older version.

A bunch of people into a room and they just chat. There's also file-sharing and stuffs going on, but it's so old.
