.......So I think what I've been doing isn't very appreciated, indeed...

Maybe it's just me, or it's because my cranky self in the morning (I had about 5 hours sleep) isn't giving way, but this made me feel sad. D:

And yes, if there aren't scanlations, you make do with summaries and raws (in this case, Chinese scans if you aren't a member of daihonmei) and please don't say something like "and be happy we have that" as your ( Read more... )

I'm sorry that someone is making you feel unappreciated :(
I think what your doing is great, I can't read any of these mangas in their original language, so just to be able to get a summary of what is going on is great! You have things you have to do and can't spend all your time translating, you shouldn't feel guilty about that. Thank you for doing what you can when you can, some of us appreciate that very much!!

:'D Th-Thank you! I sometimes wonder if what I'm doing is even looked at, at times. Some do express their thanks and I'm really grateful, but at times when people just look at it and feel "meh" I just feel like the job wasn't well done at all. ^^;;

I'm not a perfectionist, but I do like to try to bring quality to whatever I do, so...

I'm still very glad there are people like you who appreciate it! <3333

Awww.....don't let one annoying person ruin your day. There are a lot of people who really appreciate your work. Unfortunately, the dissatisfied are always the most verbal. I for one love your summaries and they hold me over until the chapter gets scanlated. Even if the chapter never did, I would still be grateful otherwise I would never know what's going on with my fave couple!

Pft, just tell them Daihonmei is published under Libre and that the leecher should be happy enough that someone's actually willing to bare the scorn of the publisher to scanlate something for the fandom. Are fans nowadays so pampered that they're not satisfied with summaries, actual raws AND translations anymore? I used to survive a fandom with just translations theria you're awesome, if you're reading this, thank you so much for all the Yami no Matsuei translations.

:D Another note, I don't read your summaries so... *runs* But, I read your translations though, since I have to read them anyway...

OH, come on skype, I'll send you some lovely porn to brighten your day. :'D They're freshly scanned Sayoko and Kojima Lalako porn too :'D

I do admire zamarinth a lot, you know that? ;w;

Apparently so. There are those who say they would definitely find it much more exciting to see the dialogue slapped over the scans itself, and in nice black and white (or if there are colored pages). Most fans wouldn't be satisfied with just a summary. They'd probably think it's just a wall of text.

LOL I KNOW THAT. And yeah of course you don't. You don't happen to be reading summaries because if you needed to read anything, you'd read them in raw. :3 Or chinese scans.

XD;; After I'm done with end game ch 4 because I totally made myself so frustrated and angry this early afternoon couldn't do anything. :\ I was worrying over other things...

I don't read any summaries, but even if I did, you know I'd appreciate them so much. You don't have to be doing what you do, but you are, and they should be thankful dangit! *huggles you tight* <3
don't let the ungrateful *&#$1 get you down, there are a lot of people who are grateful you do what you do, so don't think you are not appreciated, you are beb. <33333

As mama would put it, you could spend hours picking out ingredients in the supermarket for a great meal, work on it for hours, preparing and cooking it to present a lovingly made dinner to your family... and then have everyone complain about it and say they didn't like a thing about it or that it tasted horrible.

To them, it's just sharing their opinion, but for you, it would be quite a slight. What a foul way to return someone's kindness!

But in the end, they weren't with you when you were picking ingredients or when you were preparing and cooking the food. They don't know how much effort you put into it and how tired you were.

So, it's an innocent sort of cruelty.

If these ungrateful fans had bothered to try doing such things themselves, they wouldn't behave in such a disgraceful manner.
