SHE IS. YOU NEED TO PLAY IT. WHENEVER SHE APPEARS IN THE SECOND CASE, I JUST GET ALL HAPPY AND WARM INSIDE. ♥

Totally. *high five~* I really don't know what's up with parents nowadays, forcing their kids loads of things. If the kids can take it, sure, but there's always a limit.

Haha, Pearl is just adorable, and she's a great partner during the cases where Maya isn't there.
The Ace Attorney series are so fun and addicting! >

IT IS. THIS ENTIRE THING LOL. I like it when whenever people mention Edgeworth, Nick gets all, "Nnnnn don't mention him go away people I'm still pissy about him leaving without saying anything to me" kind of attitude. xDDDD

I'm not a parent, but my mom is really cool when it comes to parenting styles and both me and my sis turned out fine. She also disagreed with those parents who want their kids to study, study, study and do all the things they couldn't. I'll always remember her saying that those people must have forgotten that they were once that age too.

I think raising a kid is sooooo hard and that there are so many ways you can mes up and then what!? That's why I'd rather look at other people's kids, go "Oh, how cute..." and then let the parents deal with them...

YOUR MOM IS COOL. AND I'M GLAD MY MOM TOO. My mom thinks I should get the freedom of choosing. Well, I turned out to slack a bit but I actually do other things too as well. I don't entirely screw up and ignore studies either. It doesn't mean if there's a little less discipline your kid will turn out haywire. Loads of times, they may turn out much happier than you are. I dunno why parents nowadays would choose to let their kids smile less. >>;;

HAHA. Exactly what I do where I work.

It happens really, parents packing their kids schedules up and sometimes the kid can take it, sometimes they snap. Saw a few cases at my place last time, so yeah =\ I don't really approve of parents forcing the kid to study, now when some of them are what, 3? 4? when they get to that kinda place.

Ah, life.

And I'm really appalled this happens in Singapore. Lots of young parents just do that all the time. I don't know why and how. Those who are about 30 - 40 try to pack their kids' schedules with activities, like that other aunt I mentioned. And then there's another one who are about 20 - 30 and quite a few of these they either do the same, or they don't give a flying fuck to what happens to their own children. Of course, there are still those who seek good education at least, and give their kids more freedom of choice and stuff but still... :(

Just the other day at the Popular around my area, I lined up buying some stuffs for my mom, and right behind me is a lady with an entire stack of assessment books. Like, THE ENTIRE BASKET OF IT IS FILLED WITH ASSESSMENT BOOKS. I shivered and turned around, and was so relieved because my mom didn't do this to me. She only got me tuition teachers.

It's gotta do with the whole 'education and qualifications are king' shit that's going on, I suppose. THe problem with parents pushing this on their kids is that a LOT of them lose interest faster than you can spell cat, and that affects them a lot later in life when they don't want to study and all. I saw a pair of siblings once in my time at my old job, they've got school in the day, tuition in the afternoon, violin in the evening and Kumon at night. I really wonder wtf their parents are thinking.

Somehow, where has all the good parenting gone? (*insert Holding Out for a Hero track here*)

I'm glad my parents didn't do that either, they pretty much let me do whatever I wanted (only tuition for maths, cause I sucked) but yeah.
