[Summary] Junjou Romantica act 28
Aahaha, sorry for the late long-ass summary. Was busy with life. Wait, what life?! Set aside at least 10 minutes, please. Get a cup of coke and some pizza and read. ;D
I do have some official announcement - my friend wants to continue scanlations of JR, but erm, things have been stalled since she met some issues of her own with real life. Otherwise, I have the script for act 24 translations IN ENGLISH yes, I fucking do. The first part of Misaki-job hunting, yes I have it in English all 60+ pages translated. I dunno when the release is, but I won't put the script up for people to read, though.

I won't give you line-by-lines, stop looking at me like that! Oh well, I might give it here or there if I feel it's extremely significant. ;D Here we go!
We start off with Misaki having a wet dream.
.......YEAH RIGHT. He's not having a dream, but rather he's feeling weight upon him. Being usual Misaki, he asks his brother (ah, nii-chan) why the hell he still feels like shit and heavy weight upon him even though his worry for his job is already over. Turns out, Usagi's all over him.
Literally. To top it off, two Suzuki-sans join in their hankypanky session...
Turns out Misaki might've hit poor Usagi's head to wake him up. Misaki complains that Usagi disturbed his sleep, while Usagi reasoned (while still dazed) that he saw on his computer monitor that Misaki wrote, "I insist on sleeping with Usagi-san!" and that he coincidentally found (yeah right wtf) a Misaki 'coupon' around. (If you'll remember, that previous act 27 with coupons that Usagi made for Misaki? Coupons of request, like, "Kiss me" or "hold me" etc. Stupid Usagi. xD) Usagi continues to say that Misaki has grown to "be more daring".
...Basically that card reads, "Just do anything you like to me!" You like it when Usagi's perveted, YES
Obviously, Usagi isn't the type to listen to anyone, especially since, according to Misaki that it's "early in the morning" after the "scene of carnage" (think it refers to the hours he spends writing his stuff) so Usagi really wants to do it. Liek nao.
Misaki reminds that it's Usagi's deadline today for his work (maybe another script/draft handing in tiemz!) and Usagi apparently doesn't give a flying fuck.
And you know what happens: Aikawa hears it and is not bloody amused.
She moves over to try to get Usagi to wake the bloody fuck up and Misaki worries about how Aikawa will view him as from now on. (Not sure what he means, especially since it's been a few times since Aikawa has done this...) Aikawa pleads Usagi to get the hell up and asks, "Do you know how many peoples' lives are in your hands?!" and Usagi being an ass as usual replies that he doesn't care. Poor Aikawa gets all sad and asking herself what the hell she's accomplished since morning (nada, Aikawa, nada) and Misaki asks her to go down for tea. He's worried he'll turn out like this if he does get into the editorial department.
Misaki mentions about that something about this work must really make Aikawa want to do it - there must be some reason. And Aikawa really takes the time to ponder about it. But well, is unable to come up with one reason at all. Misaki suddenly gets a tad bit worried (comically) about his job with Aikawa being like this. Usagi then shifts the topic away by saying that Aikawa should just get married, while Misaki once again urges him to finish his job.
However, Usagi is stumped on it for once and asks Misaki for a bit of help. That is, "(Suzuki) Misaki's favorite H-type of situation". (HAHAHAHAHA oh and H - ecchi, meaning 'hentai' xD)
Needless to say, Misaki was attacked since Aikawa was downstairs sleeping. He then gets to school late and is chided by Toudou since he agreed to help Misaki with some stuffs that he isn't too sure about with assignment topics. (NOTE: I believe they are talking about things like independent study or your final research paper in your final year.)
Misaki gives the excuse that he had some chat with his landlord (what a long, tiring and physical chat...). Toudou wonders why the hell did he even take up Kamijou's classes (since he's an insane teacher...) and Misaki regrets it himself. But if he has to stay back for another year that'll be an embarrassment especially since now he's secured getting a job. Misaki does also comment that at that time when he tries to ask Hiroki about his assignment topic and he gets this kind of reply, "Ah? What's up with you, taking your time and draging till fourth year? You underestimating literature?!"
Misaki now shifts his attention to Hiroki - whether Hiroki remembers about him, and Usagi. (If you'll recall, Egoist act 15, and if you haven't grabbed it please pop by the comm to grab it.) But then he quickly shifts back to asking Toudou about having enough credits, and Toudou is unbelievably fast and got most of his credits. It seems Toudou has this philosophy which he strongly believes in, "If you can't do this today, how can you do that tomorrow as well?" (In Chinese, I believe we can summarize this to a simple 今日事今日必, literally meaning "do what you can today".)
...The next panel is hilarious. Misaki apologizes to his nii-chan, that he himself is an 'idiot brother'. xDDD
Misaki thinks (btw I'm on page 9 of the scans in Chinese downloaded from that post I linked you all to) that Toudou is amazing, and says that Toudou should become a cop. Toudou then suggests that he should clear his stuffs up by autumn and then they can plan to go on a "graduation trip"! Misaki totally wants this trip and says he doesn't get much opportunities to go on trips (and, quietly to himself, goes, "Well, except for those weird trips Usagi-san takes me on...").
Then a call comes in, and it's from Kimura from Marukawa Shoten. (I'm on page 10 now...) Misaki goes back to the office and it seems Kimura has an errand for him to run - bring some things (and some official documents) to Ijuuin's place. Misaki wonders if it's alright for him to go not as a person picking up his scripts, and Kimura explains that Ijuuin is actually going through a "slump" right now, and that it's actually no trouble for Misaki to pop by. Misaki technically isn't in the editorial (even though he's gotten himself a place in the company himself) department.
Ah, we see the Head of Editorial pop by reassuring Misaki things will be okay since Misaki was the one who pulled Ijuuin out from his slump the last time. We are introduced to a new character, Shizuku Ishi who is the sub-supervisor (editor) of Ijuuin. (NOTE: This is obviously NOT TAKANO. I dunno how but lots of people were speculating he looked like Takano or some other guy who appeared in SiH but I don't think he is. He's probably a separate character on his own in the JR world.)
He casually comments that Misaki's Ijuuin's favorite boy, to which Misaki goes 'wtf' at it, and he directs that condescending and slightly irritated look towards Misaki as he greets Misaki. Misaki wonders what on earth he's done to deserve such animosity. :|
(Page 14 now, we shift to Pedojuuin scene!)
Misaki presses the bell which he's then yelled to piss off. xD;; He managed to say he's Takahashi, and needless to say he's let in. As he gets on the lift to Ijuuin's place, he recalls what Kimura warned him about earlier on regarding Ijuuin. Kimura asks him to watch his own behavior, since Ijuuin's the kind to snap and not stop for quite awhile. Also, the room may be relatively scary (messy LOL) so he tells Misaki not to be disillusioned.
He gets onto the floor and finds it odd that the door is unlocked. He peeks in and sees...
THE PLACE IS HORRIFIC, but he comments he's seen worse (referring to Usagi, of course.)
Misaki apologizes for barging in like this suddenly and informs Ijuuin of what he's come here today for, and also thanks Ijuuin for that flower that day (recall previous summary in act 26). Ijuuin in turn apologizes for letting Misaki see his sorry state. Ijuuin asks him to come in and have lunch with him, to which Misaki hesitates a little and then agrees. Misaki also offers to help clean up the place a bit. (wtf misaki these hosuewife duties - reserved for Usagi only!)
(Up to this point, I only used the Chinese references while I still used raws given by previews at the Chinese forums. FROM HERE ON, THE SUMMARY IS EVEN MORE INACCURATE AFTER READING IT IN FULL CHINESE SO YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.)
Misaki notes while cleaning that it's his first time at Ijuuin's place. (Hahahaa Toudou's going to be so jealous later.) He also notices that although his things are messy, he does file lots of his things up relatively well so it's a bit easier to pack, unlike some other author.
Then he notices something - iefweijfwijefwoefj HIS OWN FAN LETTER SENT TO IJUUIN WHEN HE WAS YOUNGER, about senior high, and Misaki being stupid kind of wonders why Ijuuin would keep it. To Ijuuin, no matter long it's been, it's still a fan letter and it means a lot to him so he files them. Misaki, obviously stupidly, melts in front of Ijuuin and he comments (to himself) that he's becoming "an even bigger fan".
Ijuuin comments that there are times when he just gets so...down that he is unable to write much, but sometimes still is able to work some solutions out thanks to his experience in the field, but if he sinks in sometimes it's just hard to get out. Misaki suggests he should have a chat with the editorial department, but he mentions it doesn't work well since it's not a solution that can be repeated, and he feels like it's always him fighting alone.
...Situation gets a liiiiiiiiiiittle tense and Ijuuin apologizes for creating such an atmosphere. Misaki responds by telling Ijuuin that this isn't a lone battle and no matter what he'll always be a loyal fan of Ijuuin's works since he's read and learned from them since young.
Misaki then blurts out that it'll "always be okay" and that he "likes sensei the most".

Ijuuin comments that Misaki always confesses so straightforwardly and says thank you with a gorgeous smile.
Misaki is completely swept away and thinks Ijuuin is so handsome.

After their done cleaning, they sit down for tea and Misaki realizes something funny. Finally, that dorkhead realizes that Ijuuin seems a little too close. Ijuuin asks if Misaki wants to be an editor, to which he says yes. He doesn't know which branch he'll be going yet but he hopes that'll come true anyway. Ijuuin suddenly asks, "Do you have a girlfriend?"
...And Misaki panics and thinks frantically that Ijuuin is just too close for comfort. Ijuuin decides that Misaki seems to be rather popular (which the boy says no) and says that people have no taste for not chasing Misaki. He then goes on to ask about Usagi and Misaki's relationship, to which Misaki hastily replies that Usagi is his "landlord" and that his nii-chan and Usagi are both really good friends etc~ You know the drill.
Ijuuin comments that Usagi seems to be very concerned about Misaki, to which Misaki answers that it's probably on behalf of his nii-chan that Usagi does so. (At this point, translator does a flip and falls off her chair, and quickly reverts back...) He goes on to say that Usagi usually calls him things like a brat or a small kid or that there's something wrong with his brain etc...
Ijuuin comments that Misaki is a good kid being straightforward, and he "likes kids that are like Takahashi".
...FUCKINGPEDOJUUIN.
Misaki suddenly stands finally creeped out by pedojuiin i hope? and wolfs down his food and leaves in a hurry. Now, he gets back and is relieved that Ijuuin is back on track once more with his work.
However, a certain horrible atmosphere awaits poor Misaki back at home. Usagi asks if Misaki just finished his work, and Misaki answers yes with a question back at Usagi regarding his script-writing and work, and Usagi answers yes too.
Usagi then finally asks, "What happened between you and that author?"
...Misaki drops that pot he's holding and denies everything.
......What's more shocking is that Ijuuin apparently wants to have a meal with Usagi.
IJUUIN WANTS TO HAVE A FUCKING MEAL WITH USAGI. (At this point, translator melts into a puddle of goo... Sexy meets sexy... Hnnnnggggg)
Misaki wonders why but still tells Usagi that nothing happened, but Usagi insisted on knowing.
Misaki says that he went to deliver stuff to Ijuuin and also gave some encouragement to the man, to which Usagi asks about this 'encouragement'. Misaki replies that he likes Ijuuin, but rephrases it that he "likes Ijuuin's works" and adds that Usagi is annoying. :(
Misaki says that while chatting, Ijuuin also said he "likes kids like Misaki" and finds himself a tad bit surprised, but he thinks he shouldn't be. The only reason why he's surprised is because he's been "poisoned" by Usagi.
IT'S SEXY TIEMZ AT THE KITCHEN
Misaki yells to stop but Usagi continues and Usagi asks if Ijuuin touched him at all. Misaki truthfully (FOR ONCE THANK HEAVENS) says that it was only his hair. Ohnoez, pissed Usagi is pissed. Misaki asks him to stop and tells him that Usagi needs to stop lumping everyone around together as that kind of people, but Usagi replies, "Who knows [what kind of person he is]?"
Misaki feels this Usagi is different from usual and is scary. He wonders why the hell he is just so untrustworthy to Usagi. He stops Usagi and tells him firmly, once again, that he didn't do anything and will never do anything. He also reminds Usagi that he promised to "attack" Usagi. He'd make Usagi all faint and stuff, and that he'll never think of doing this to anyone at all, but Usagi.
Usagi's caught with surprise, but immediately switches back to his Lord Almighty self and commands Misaki to do it right here, right now. Misaki goes 'wtf' and hesitates awhile.
On page 41, he pushes Usagi down. He stays there. For two panels. Straight. Usagi asks, "And then?"
On page 42, Usagi comments that he's horrible. Usagi helps Misaki back up and says that he doesn't doubt Misaki, just that he is terribly worried about what will happen to Misaki.
Because, "I love you too much."
Usagi pats Misaki and tells Misaki that he won't ask Misaki to not meet Pedojuuin even outside of work, but at least if he does, he should be more careful about Pedojuuin. If Misaki doesn't promise him, then he'll "continue being jealous".
Ah, Misaki's thoughts are niiiiiice... On page 43, he comments that Usagi's hands are big yet cold, that they are very different from anyone else's pair of hands.
He also added on page 44 that "unknowingly doing these kind of things has become more comfortable...". (These kind of things?! I HOPE HE MEANS SEX 8DDDD)
Aaaaaanyway, Misaki suddenly pulls back and goes, "WTF R U DOIN'" and Usagi replies, "Aren't you going to attack me?" He also says that it seems Misaki can't do it properly so he'll do a demonstration. Ahahaa! He asks Misaki to follow him and do it, and he points at his forehead and Misaki totally goes CHUUUUU at it.
Usagi wonders how to rate his progress with that forehead kiss as Misaki pulls back quickly and says, "That's two times, TWO TIMES! NOT BAD RIGHT?!"
...Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut Usagi being nice compliments Misaki anyway. :3 For improving.
And to Misaki, he's especially embarrassed because his partner is Usagi. :3
During sex~ Misaki thinks to himself on page 49, like he always does, "Suddenly, I feel it's unbelievable. That I like everyone no matter if it's nii-chan, or a friend, or Ijuuin-sensei. Compared to being with Usagi-sensei, what's the difference? Feels like I always have something I want more compared to being with others.
Page 50, "Are these 'feelings'? If it's something that has no shape, then it's even harder to maintain. But if it gets changed to something solid..."
Aaaaanddddd Usagi uses his classic sexy voice to say "I love you ♥"~
Page 51, "Just from these four words, its meaning seems to gush out continuously and fill me up. Why is that so? It just feels so unbelievable. Just like this, and lets my heart beat so quickly, lets me feel discontentment, lets me feel anger, lets me feel happiness..."
Page 52, "Lets me become extremely happy..."
AND POOF ISAKA APPEARS. Usagi tells him to go away since he's being such a cockblock since he's so annoying...Apparently, he's got his meal arranged at a three star hotel, Ambridge at Aoyama with Ijuuin. Apparently that's all and he'll text the time later to Usagi.
Misaki knows that Usagi doesn't digest info well when it's early in the morning (with his mood, and the topic being Ijuuin) so he tries to change the topic to something else. He tells Usagi about his graduation trip with Toudou, that "even though nothing has really been confirmed yet" he just wants to "take this opportunity to go overseas".
...apparently he says he's kidding about it. All Usagi can register on the final page is, "...overseas..." and he quickly drags Misaki along to bring him to make his passport (he hasn't got one yet) and then so that he can go away during the dinner with Misaki...
Final box, final page: "Has he become stupid after sleep or seriously going to go play - a confused Misaki (aged 21)"

After their done cleaning, they sit down for tea and Misaki realizes something funny. Finally, that dorkhead realizes that Ijuuin seems a little too close. Ijuuin asks if Misaki wants to be an editor, to which he says yes. He doesn't know which branch he'll be going yet but he hopes that'll come true anyway. Ijuuin suddenly asks, "Do you have a girlfriend?"
...And Misaki panics and thinks frantically that Ijuuin is just too close for comfort. Ijuuin decides that Misaki seems to be rather popular (which the boy says no) and says that people have no taste for not chasing Misaki. He then goes on to ask about Usagi and Misaki's relationship, to which Misaki hastily replies that Usagi is his "landlord" and that his nii-chan and Usagi are both really good friends etc~ You know the drill.
Ijuuin comments that Usagi seems to be very concerned about Misaki, to which Misaki answers that it's probably on behalf of his nii-chan that Usagi does so. (At this point, translator does a flip and falls off her chair, and quickly reverts back...) He goes on to say that Usagi usually calls him things like a brat or a small kid or that there's something wrong with his brain etc...
Ijuuin comments that Misaki is a good kid being straightforward, and he "likes kids that are like Takahashi".
...FUCKINGPEDOJUUIN.
Misaki suddenly stands finally creeped out by pedojuiin i hope? and wolfs down his food and leaves in a hurry. Now, he gets back and is relieved that Ijuuin is back on track once more with his work.
However, a certain horrible atmosphere awaits poor Misaki back at home. Usagi asks if Misaki just finished his work, and Misaki answers yes with a question back at Usagi regarding his script-writing and work, and Usagi answers yes too.
Usagi then finally asks, "What happened between you and that author?"
...Misaki drops that pot he's holding and denies everything.
......What's more shocking is that Ijuuin apparently wants to have a meal with Usagi.
IJUUIN WANTS TO HAVE A FUCKING MEAL WITH USAGI. (At this point, translator melts into a puddle of goo... Sexy meets sexy... Hnnnnggggg)
Misaki wonders why but still tells Usagi that nothing happened, but Usagi insisted on knowing.
Misaki says that he went to deliver stuff to Ijuuin and also gave some encouragement to the man, to which Usagi asks about this 'encouragement'. Misaki replies that he likes Ijuuin, but rephrases it that he "likes Ijuuin's works" and adds that Usagi is annoying. :(
Misaki says that while chatting, Ijuuin also said he "likes kids like Misaki" and finds himself a tad bit surprised, but he thinks he shouldn't be. The only reason why he's surprised is because he's been "poisoned" by Usagi.
IT'S SEXY TIEMZ AT THE KITCHEN
Misaki yells to stop but Usagi continues and Usagi asks if Ijuuin touched him at all. Misaki truthfully (FOR ONCE THANK HEAVENS) says that it was only his hair. Ohnoez, pissed Usagi is pissed. Misaki asks him to stop and tells him that Usagi needs to stop lumping everyone around together as that kind of people, but Usagi replies, "Who knows [what kind of person he is]?"
Misaki feels this Usagi is different from usual and is scary. He wonders why the hell he is just so untrustworthy to Usagi. He stops Usagi and tells him firmly, once again, that he didn't do anything and will never do anything. He also reminds Usagi that he promised to "attack" Usagi. He'd make Usagi all faint and stuff, and that he'll never think of doing this to anyone at all, but Usagi.
Usagi's caught with surprise, but immediately switches back to his Lord Almighty self and commands Misaki to do it right here, right now. Misaki goes 'wtf' and hesitates awhile.
On page 41, he pushes Usagi down. He stays there. For two panels. Straight. Usagi asks, "And then?"
On page 42, Usagi comments that he's horrible. Usagi helps Misaki back up and says that he doesn't doubt Misaki, just that he is terribly worried about what will happen to Misaki.
Because, "I love you too much."
Usagi pats Misaki and tells Misaki that he won't ask Misaki to not meet Pedojuuin even outside of work, but at least if he does, he should be more careful about Pedojuuin. If Misaki doesn't promise him, then he'll "continue being jealous".
Ah, Misaki's thoughts are niiiiiice... On page 43, he comments that Usagi's hands are big yet cold, that they are very different from anyone else's pair of hands.
He also added on page 44 that "unknowingly doing these kind of things has become more comfortable...". (These kind of things?! I HOPE HE MEANS SEX 8DDDD)
Aaaaaanyway, Misaki suddenly pulls back and goes, "WTF R U DOIN'" and Usagi replies, "Aren't you going to attack me?" He also says that it seems Misaki can't do it properly so he'll do a demonstration. Ahahaa! He asks Misaki to follow him and do it, and he points at his forehead and Misaki totally goes CHUUUUU at it.
Usagi wonders how to rate his progress with that forehead kiss as Misaki pulls back quickly and says, "That's two times, TWO TIMES! NOT BAD RIGHT?!"
...Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut Usagi being nice compliments Misaki anyway. :3 For improving.
And to Misaki, he's especially embarrassed because his partner is Usagi. :3
During sex~ Misaki thinks to himself on page 49, like he always does, "Suddenly, I feel it's unbelievable. That I like everyone no matter if it's nii-chan, or a friend, or Ijuuin-sensei. Compared to being with Usagi-sensei, what's the difference? Feels like I always have something I want more compared to being with others.
Page 50, "Are these 'feelings'? If it's something that has no shape, then it's even harder to maintain. But if it gets changed to something solid..."
Aaaaanddddd Usagi uses his classic sexy voice to say "I love you ♥"~
Page 51, "Just from these four words, its meaning seems to gush out continuously and fill me up. Why is that so? It just feels so unbelievable. Just like this, and lets my heart beat so quickly, lets me feel discontentment, lets me feel anger, lets me feel happiness..."

AND POOF ISAKA APPEARS. Usagi tells him to go away since he's being such a cockblock since he's so annoying...Apparently, he's got his meal arranged at a three star hotel, Ambridge at Aoyama with Ijuuin. Apparently that's all and he'll text the time later to Usagi.
Misaki knows that Usagi doesn't digest info well when it's early in the morning (with his mood, and the topic being Ijuuin) so he tries to change the topic to something else. He tells Usagi about his graduation trip with Toudou, that "even though nothing has really been confirmed yet" he just wants to "take this opportunity to go overseas".
...apparently he says he's kidding about it. All Usagi can register on the final page is, "...overseas..." and he quickly drags Misaki along to bring him to make his passport (he hasn't got one yet) and then so that he can go away during the dinner with Misaki...
Final box, final page: "Has he become stupid after sleep or seriously going to go play - a confused Misaki (aged 21)"
