Thanks! I also lost my voice for a while and it was awful! Being without it forever would suck. Can't even scream that it's not fair :(

Poor boys. This is so tough on them. Cloud having to adjust to not having his voice or his arm anymore along with having his entire routine uprooted, and Sephiroth losing his mind trying to care for him even though he really has no idea what to do. I'm glad Kunsel's on their side, at least.

That last paragraph in particular has some really dark undertones to it, basically saying that Sephiroth will kill Cloud before he lets him go back to the labs, if that's what it takes. That poor boy is so messed up, it's really easy to envision him burning down a town to punish everyone responsible.

Yup. If he can't protect Cloud, he'll kill him. At least the way he'd do it would be painless.

I shouldn't find Cloud's struggles as cute as I do, but he's so adorable!! And trying so hard. Sephiroth's protectiveness is too endearing too, and it was nice to see Angeal and Genesis even though their welcome wasn't so warm haha XD

How can you not find his struggles cute? He wants to be independent and strong, but he's not. At least he's got his overprotective Sephiroth. Genesis, at least, will be coming back. Maybe even with at least slightly less crude humour :D

Seph's protectiveness is touching, especially given that Cloud doesn't want to cause him problems. Poor little guy.

No apples for him. He needs to learn that his sense of humour isn't for everyone. Cloud's having a rough time; he wants to stay with Sephiroth, but he knows it's going to be troublesome.
