Then, you've got a point. Depression has fucked with my head in some scary-ass ways over the course of my life, and I would not be surprised to hear the same from others.

I guess I am insensitive, because my first thought was, "What a loon!" and my second was, "Some people shouldn't have children." But, yeah, you're probably right about the depression.

At any rate, I think it won't be a secret for long after the children can talk.

You know, on second thought, it doesn't even make sense. Whose bedroom doors lock on the outside? And, if she had the kids' rooms equipped that way, wouldn't her husband notice?

messed up. I used to take the kids when they were tiny and we'd lay on the couch and watch cartoons. Those are some of the best times we had too.
