Joy was a supermom contestant. At the time of the contest she had three kids, Wallace, Italy and Leasia.
It was shown how much she tried to teach her kids, compassion and love.
She was also given some special alone time. . . to get away from the stresses of being a mom.

How things are today, with two teenagers and a pre-teen.
Her and her hubby had a special opportunity to be alone with each other.
They run a resturant and he set things up so it would be romantic and private.
They still love each other to this very day.
Things aren't always roses for Joy. Her daughter Italy has been a little tough to handle.
During the competition Joy found a cigarette in her room.
But through it all they're a fun family. They do a lot together, play sports etc.
And when little Wallace got hurt Joy came to his rescue! Bandaged him right up.
