This was so wonderful! I could hear all of the characters so clearly. They integrate so easily into the 'verse, there needs to be more crossovers with them.

And they got them all to the fleet! That is so ridiculously heart warming.

Thanks so much! I love crossing these two verses over- it is sad that I only know of a couple. I agree- there should be more :)And yeah- I couldn't resist the happy (ish) ending! :)

Thanks again :)

Not only are your characterizations of all canon characters pretty spot on (and in Wash's case hilariously adorable), but your blending of the two worlds worked perfectly. Using the Chinese as Tauron and the Tauron Civil War as Browncoats was inspired. The only mystery is River's backstory. But I guess that's what sequels are for.

Thanks so much! I had a lot of fun writing this one :)

River's backstory wasn't all that different, actually. Someone once pointed out that the Alliance and the Colonial government aren't necessarily THAT different, so I didn't see any reason there couldn't be a secret Colonial agency that did the same thing to her. So it's pretty much identical to canon.

(Although if I was going to create another universe, it would be one where Simon was an escaped Seven who didn't fully remember his past and was lonely and tried to make a Cylon sister. He got it mostly right, but not 100%, and then guilt because he made her what she is and he loves her and they only have each other and all that. It's too much in this particular story, but it would be a fun background :) )
