I haven't read much Firefly fic, but I've always thought that writing River would be incredibly difficult. This was such an interesting and lovely way to go about it, and I think it really worked! And the concept of the dolls really goes so well with what the Academy was doing to her.

Thanks! I actually thought it would be hard to write, because the only thing I've done in the Firefly 'verse was from Jayne's POV, and I've never really got into the Dollhouse, but it all went really quickly once I had the basic idea.

Turns out I'm way too comfortable thinking crazy...
