THANK YOU! :D :D :D :D

I love Audrey so much it's unreal, so I was super stoked from the get go when I saw you'd gone for this prompt. I love the idea of fake!psychic Shawn meeting real!telepath Matt, and that it's Gus, not either of them that figure it out.

Gus' mental video/flashback of Felipe's story was aces and I loved how Shawn kept calling Felipe "Phil"; it was totally in character.

:D! I'm glad you liked it!

I really liked Audrey myself, when she was on the show, so being able to pull her over to Santa Barbara was kind of a no-brainer. I couldn't pin down how she and Lassiter would interact, though, so they were kind of pushed to the side of the story.

It's my belief that anyone from the Heroes 'verse who met Shawn would believe him until proven otherwise. I'd have seriously feared for Shawn's life if he actually got on Sylar's trail.

Shawn is clever, and notices things, but he works with the understanding that none of that supernatural stuff is real. Gus, despite his sensible demeanor, is the believer of the two of them, and probably the only main character in Psych who could make that kind of guess.

Shawn butchering names of people/medicines/anything is pretty much standard, isn't it?

Awesome story! Everybody was very in character, and it was great to see Audrey in action again :D I'm in agreement with perdiccas, I love that it was Gus that figured out that Matt's psychic XD

Thanks! I'm glad you think they're IC, and I agree that Audrey is a lot of fun. A professional character who takes her job seriously!

IMO, nobody but Gus on Psych could make that kind of guess - I'm glad you liked it.

I too had thought of how fantastic it would be to have Matt and Shawn meet.

Of course Gus the one to figure it out! Lovely idea.

Fake psychic meets real psychic? It was impossible to resist, honestly. there may be eventual follow-up concerning that conversation

I'm glad you liked it, and thanks for reading!

I've never seen Psych, but I kind of know the premise, so the idea of Matt and Audrey talking to Shawn was just so much fun! It's always so wonderful to see Audrey (she was possibly the best female character Heroes has ever had)! And I just loved Matt's avoidance of eye contact and how everyone just believed Shawn. LOL. Great story!

I'm glad you liked it, even without knowing the primary fandom! :) Audrey and Matt made a pretty good team, and I was very fond of the powerless characters of season one, so it was a lot of fun to use her here.

When you're reading the mind of a guy who thinks "huh, that's weird. like that guy was reading his mind," you're probably going to want to avoid eye-contact. With a psychic detective on the scene too, Matt was really uncomfortable here.

Thanks for reading!

Lol, I was literally just talking about something like this with a friend the other day - a 'law enforcement' etc program crossover with Heroes at that point in the timeline, so this is perfect.

This story was really awesome. I love it a lot. :DDDD

The concept comes together pretty easily, doesn't it? There's a couple of roadtrip-type travels in season one you can use to put characters just about anywhere in the US. Working with Psych, the FBI-hunting-Sylar option made more sense than the Mohinder&Zane-power-search though Shawn and Mohinder would be interesting, given Sendhil's appearance on Psych.

I'm glad you liked it!
