I haven't gotten up to whatever episode Delaware is in yet (only just finished S5 this weekend), so clearly I am missing like 60% of the point here, but PHIL! And ELEVEN! Oh, how darling. Phil is so awesome, tasing the 'President'. The man has such balls. And how unphased he was by Eleven's complete weirdness. And how Eleven was so glad they only tased the thing. I hope they meet again. They would be perfect together. This was delightful, start to finish. And I can't wait to watch and see who Delaware is... :-)

Half of the point of Delaware is simply that he is badass, but you don't realize how badass until the end. The other half of Delaware is something that didn't make it into the fic because I couldn't figure out how, but if you want to know what my headcanon is with this crossover, comment after you've seen the ep and I'll tell you then.

Thank you! I do wonder what SHIELD's relationship with UNIT is, since they are both multi-national quasi-military organizations that deal with weird stuff like alien invasions. Although, SHIELD is more spy-stuff and UNIT is more military-stuff, so maybe there's a role for both?

I loved this! Coulson and his early career, Canton, the SHIELD jokes and the Doctor's cameo. And Fury's appearance made me unreasonably happy. Between it being their first meeting, and how easily I could imagine their younger selves and that conversation, and that one tiny detail of the TARDIS on the pick up truck -- okay, maybe it made me very reasonably happy.
