I'm not done reading yet but you really capture Raylan's voice, and I like your style, very clean and readable. This is a neglected crossover area and it's SUCH a natural one, yay, can you point me toward any more SPN/Justified crossover action?

Thanks for the comment, I'm so glad you're enjoying the fic!

I am fairly well versed in what's going on in Justified fandom, so to tell you the truth, the only crossover stuff I've seen so far is what's going on with this exchange and a few drabble-type comment fics I wrote myself over the summer (they're also both SPN). Let me know if you're interested and I can link you to them (after I find them in the bowels of my journal).

However! If you come on over to nvrleaveharlan which is a new writing community, crossovers and AU requests are welcome in the new exchange we'll be starting soon. If you're not interested in writing, you can at least watch the community for any crossover stuff the exchange might produce.

I like your writing style, very... clean, I'd say. Simplistic, not getting in the way, and interspersed with little things that echo the characters' voices, i can't even explain, but this is really, really damn great. I'll just work my way through your masterlist then k?
Again, Raylan and Loretta, my little heart is in puddles on the floor.
And the twists! Raylan being targeted as an adulterer, trololol, the second ghost, Boyd's ghost story, it rings true for both shows. CW and FX should put this on screen as a Christmas special or something.
Of course Winona would complain about Raylan spending time with a little girl who lost

This is simply astounding. I've been reading it over the course of the past week or two (RL keeps denying me time to enjoy fic. Not cool, RL!) and this story has actually prompted me to start watching 'Supernatural,' a show I had never seen before starting this story. This is the first x-over story that has so sucked me in I've actually decided to plunge into the fandom I was unfamiliar with.

I loved the voices, the hunting, the haunting, the unassuming stroll through nature turning into a struggle for their lives. I loved Raylan taking Loretta under his wing, and Loretta then saving his life. I love Loretta and she's spot on here. All the characters are spot on.

Can I request more Loretta from you? Also a sequel to this? Please?

Thanks for the lovely comments. I've written one other Loretta story (Bad Day, posted to my AO3 account). There's a sequel to that one languishing somewhere either on goggle docs or my hard drive, but I never got around to finishing it.

I'd love to do a sequel to this someday, but I gotta get some plot inspiration first. And figure out how canon would fit into it. :P

Keep on the look out though, there's always a possibility. :D

I say booey to canon - your sequel could have talking dinosaurs in it (maybe possessing Boyd!) and I'm sure it would be fantastic.

Yes, I have faith that 'Supernatural' will improve. It's got the makings of a series that I can really see myself getting sucked into, so I'm excited about that.
