OMG THIS. I love everything about this! You came up with such an amazing, believable story about how John and Atlantis came to be, and there are so many awesome little details in here that I'm still flailing over! John being known as the Mathmatician! Working in Chaya as the one to ascend him! Bringing him back like the Master with the stopwatch!

Your descriptions of Atlantis as John's TARDIS were simply beautiful. And I love the connection between the two Time Lords, even though they don't meet in this fic. I think this line has to be my favourite: It seemed like the Doctor was rubbing off on him, first the gift of that rotary telephone, then the tendency to get into trouble, and now a desire to collect companions.

Because Rodney as John's companion: OMG YESSSSSSSSS. Going to believe forever and ever that's what happened. Thank you so much for writing this fic for me! <3333

Thank you!

I'm so glad to hear that you like it!

I know I was so close to trying to work in a random Ancient or a future Ori being the one to Ascend him, and then I remembered Chaya and it just worked out from there.

Yes, I definitely think the Doctor had to have an impact on John's development as a Mature and Proper Lord of Time.

I think having Rodney as John's companion would be absolutely hilarious, yet so fitting. I'm sure he'd get them into trouble as much as he got out of it--and would have a lot to say about their destinations and races they encounter.

I love that you loved your story, and you are so welcome!

Um, WHAT?! I LOVE IT. I mean, I don't even know where to START, but I hope you know that much. I love all the varied ways that people validate John's connection to Atlantis, and this is just...wow. I love it. Atlantis is a TARDIS, that makes infinite sense.

So much love. I'm gushing without making any particular sense, but that's okay, right?

(OH SGA. I MISS YOU SO MUCH.)
