i LOVE the idea of Rose and Dawn drawing Cas into girltalk until he feels better about everything. I also love your Dawn--content with being the Key, but liking being Dawn better (and the rambling is spot on!)
I think my favorite part might actually be the description of Rose's corner of the Void, though--

Sometimes it was vivid and raging, mercilessly destroying anything that tried to encroach into its territory. Other times it was softer, warmer; enticing the unwary before giving them a kinder oblivion. At its center was its only inhabitant and one of the few friends The Key had.

Castiel needs some female friends. The boys and Bobby are great and all, but kind of emotionally constipated. Dawn and Rose would totally break down emotions for him.

It was difficult trying to explain Dawn/Key's nature without just /telling/ it all. I didn't get it the way I wanted to, but I'm glad you enjoyed her. Oh, man. Dawn's rambling was hard to corral. The girl just wanted to /talk/. Understandable since she's had so few conversational partners, but man. She really could take up an entire fic talking to and answering herself.
