I'm far more familiar with Leverage than Supernatural, but what I know about Gabriel was enough to make this totally enjoyable. I mean, the best part was of course Nate's reaction - or not-reaction - and Gabriel stealing Parker's cereal :D

This is kind of a lot of fun. I also know little about SPN (what I know about SPN I mostly learn from Fandom Wank) but this is...delicious.

And if Jimmy Stewart can hallucinate a 6' pink rabbit, I don't see why Nate couldn't hallucinate Gabriel. ;)

Yes, exactly, at least Gabriel exists in some lore. :)

Nate is a very cool customer, always looking for the angles.

Hee! I haven’t watched much Supernatural (and zero Leverage) but I saw the hilarious crossover episode, so I know who Gabriel is. You wrote him so well,. He’s so silly and I loved Nate’s reaction. Nice bit of characterization during the “why and what but not who” conversation. Gabriel showing the apocalpyse on all the screens was a nice touch and I loved the twist that all that was to get the Leverage team to help the Winchesters out! Now I just wish there was more.

I love that you read stories without much knowledge of the fandoms. You're hardcore. :)

Thanks for the kind words and for running such a fun exchange.

This is such a great interpretation of the prompt. I only have a vague idea about either of these fandoms but it was still a really fun read. Everything about the way Nate reacted to a random stranger with magical powers suddenly being in his house was great!
