this is gorgeous, the descriptions of Sophie keeping her cool despite the unexpected blindness and orienting herself are really great and although I have to admit I'm usually not a fan of 2nd person fic, you did an awesome job with it and I really like how you use it - as a reader, it made me feel almost off-balance, as if I'm the one suddenly going blind :)

I've never written in 2nd person before but my recipient requested it as a bonus. I'm delighted to know it worked for you in the way I intended. I think Sophie, no matter what name she's going by, is a woman who knows how to roll with what life hands her.

This was perfect - thank you so much. I love that you took a chance with second person and it definitely paid off. Sophie/Annie was perfect and the blindness was a nice touch. Lots of pent up tension in this one.

This was really great. You took a risk with the 2nd person POV but you totally made it work. Everything felt so intimate, I second the commenter above who said you made us feel the temporary loss of sight along with Sophie.

Oh excellent, I was hoping the blindness worked as well when translated to a page as it sounded in my head. Once the idea formed, there wasn't anything much else I wanted to explore. Thanks for taking the time to comment!
