Oh man, I love this story. I love "X-Files" (and "SPN") but have only read a couple of "X-Files" fics. Delving into this one was a treat. Part of what makes it work really well is that even though there's this serious story going on, you keep that trademark humour that both shows have, running parallel to all the drama.

The idea of Mulder and Bobby as old friends is awesome. I could hear their voices and picture them with each other...and I really dig how you've written Scully -- where she's skeptical but is not completely closed off to what Mulder brings to the table.
