This is so great! I know nothing about Dark Angel (except that Logan looks like Dean Winchester), but what made this fic for me was the phenomenal Mozzie characterization. He’s my favorite from White Collar, and I feel like you did such a thoughtful look into what he’s like and what makes him tick. And the way Neal observes Mozzie says loads about Neal, too. Loved Mozzie holding the “food now!” sign and chowing down with Logan. :)

Thank you very much! *beams* It was very interesting to let Mozzie loose in a world where, basically, those in power are probably every bit as corrupt and secretive as Mozzie's always suspected the government to be.

Er. Actually, Logan looks like Tony DiNozzo. Jensen Ackles is in Dark Angel, too, but his character's name is Alec. And Ben. (He plays twin brothers - one of them dies before you meet the other so er yeah. It works.

Thank you! It was rather fun to write him in the world of Dark Angel.

I'm afraid I don't know a thing about Dark Angel, but your Mozzie is delightful and Neal feels true to himself. Lovely work.

:) before starting to read, I tried to remember everything I know about Dark Angel, then I took a deep breath and dove right in.

And I wasn't disappointed in the slightest, your story reads true to both fandoms, with the post-apocalyptic and slightly unsettling mood of it, and I had to smile at Logan being idealistic and Neal being a little out of his depth, but still being Neal, slick and charming, and Mozzie, he made me smile even more - I adore Mozzie!

Thank you very much - especially pleased to hear you felt this read true to both fandoms, since I wasn't sure how well-balanced this would turn out.

Mozzie was entirely too much fun to let loose on this world.

I liked this. It's been ages since I saw Dark Angel and I never was into its fandom but this story jolted some of the memories as to why I liked the episodes. I liked the little ways in with the story shows how Neal and Mozzie have adapted to this new world.

I'm left wondering how Neal is going to fit with Max when she turns out. Nice.

Max ... I was oh-so tempted to put her in and have her interact with Neal, maybe have them going after the same piece of art or something, but in the end, none of my drafts seemed to work. Logan and Neal sort of hit it off straight from the get-go though, so ... Logan and Neal, it became. (Their timelines were a bit easier to juggle, too.)

Happy to hear you liked reading this!
