I seriously cannot believe that all this is mine. I just want to roll around in it and poke at the mythology and ask what happened to Sam and follow Abby round and Dean and Cas, my heart, someone give that poor guy a soul or a free pass or something.
...reading that back, I realise it's only a step above ADANKDFSNF, coherency-wise, but that's because this is AWESOME. Abby! If there were more ladies like her in SPN, I would be so much happier. And I love that Kirk didn't get to be the hero for once, and then entire sequence with Kirk and McCoy in the church was amazing and okay, I think I'm ADSSAFDSAFM-ing again.
You are mightily welcome and yes, it's all yours. I'm just a long winded writer.
I was a little worried when I looked through your prompt sheet and had no clue what most of it was but it had some key stuff in there that makes for good glue to put these two together. And me, I'm a Lore Junkie so I got to go on one of my research binges and that made me very happy. You can pretty much type in any angel/demon names here and it'll come up with some results.
I'm glad you like Abaddon, OFCs are hard to fly in SPN fandom so it's hard to make 'em.
Yeah. McCoy's my favorite. It wasn't hard to put Kirk into a back seat. Plus McCoy being a good, traditionally raise Southern boy fit in better with the religious lore and themes that SPN thrives on.
I love how you made this crossover plausible--the implications of it kind of broke my heart, a little, but it's a really clever way to get these fandoms to meet without full-on time travel. Your biblical characters were interesting and well used. I particularly liked Abaddon, though I'd only heard of that name in the Fallen sense, before, which made the first scene a bit hard to read at first.
The characters from each fandom meeting up was as enjoyable for me as the plot. Old-fashioned Dean, preferring methods from his own time, brought out a very The Journey Home type of Bones, which I liked. Humor aside, I loved your Bones, just in general. His desire to help, burden of responsibility or not, his religious past connecting the dots, and willingness to do what he had to, were very much how I see the good doctor.
The idea was well-thought out, and the prose cleanly structured. All in all, a fantastic job. ♥
Personally, I hate time travel and even though it's been established in both fandoms I couldn't bring myself to use it. It was easier to gift/curse Dean and Cas with unwanted unnaturally long life to get them into position. It seemed like something the angels would do to them, anyway.
I'm glad you liked Abaddon, I like her too. It's really a challenge to fly OFCs in both these fandoms and I write them alot. I make it my personal mission to have at least one, very well constructed OFC designed to what I want them to be but real (and non-evasive) enough to get in good with hardcore fans and readers. Call me a masochist.
And everyone I've ever shown Abaddon to is with you and I've found him (cause in Lore it's a him) as a Fallen and referred to as the Angel of Destruction and a heavy hitter in Hell. Thing is I didn't hear about Abaddon that way the first time. When I first caught wind of Abaddon it was in an online dictionary of angels and it said Abaddon - the Angel of War and that was image I

So, just wanted to say I loved this, especially the little hints of EPIC that fit so well into STXI and SPN season 5. Thanks for sharing (or giving as the case may be. :))
Thanks. I personally hate time travel of any kind. I just can't write it even if its established canon in BOTH fandoms. Hell, the new movies was BASED on time warp. But i hate it so yeah, I went with the longevity out of duty, thing. Kind of a curse/gift.
I'm thinking about writing more of this, I really like Abaddon and I'd like to play with her and McCoy some more. I figure Lucifer is still walking around, wither he's wearing Sam or not is still debatable. I don't think Dean would do too good in space, the boy can't handle airplanes, I figure he'd have to be sedated. I'd rather work on what Spock would do faced with angels and monsters.
But I have to cross post this to a couple of communities ( deancastiel and newtrekslash ) and to my ff.net account and if I write some other parts to this thing it'll probably crop up on ff.net. My account over there is fanfiction.net/~theplanetmary.
Awe you noticed Abby. Yay! I'm glad you liked Abaddon, I like her too. It's really a challenge to fly OFCs in both these fandoms and I write them alot. There is a massive backstory here, I swear... but I have no clue what it is. If I continue the thing then it maybe will come out though.

Hmmm, can I hope for sequels? I keep wondering if Lucy has just been smart and decided to leave Earth... I can't help but imagine Dean in space. LOL
Thanks for the wonderful read.

Most of all I loved how you didn't try and fill us in on massive backstory, but damn you've whetted my appetite for it though.
Many thanks for a great read.
