This is such a fantastically written story. When I first read that prompt in the sign-ups, my mind went to the whole Aaron-Molly thing, too, and I immediately started shipping Kate/Mohinder. :)

This is so heartbreaking, but you did such a great job of showing the contrast of both relationships that Kate is in, and in fact it is kind of perfect, because they represent the two sides of her---Mohinder represents that sweet side of her that makes her such a good companion in the island and also during O6 time, and with Sylar, she's out of control and dangerous and self-loathing. She'll always be battling those two sides of herself, so you really get the feeling that this will never end.

Mohinder was just wonderful. *sob!* That part about him thinking like an evolutionist and her callingg him out on it was wonderfully done.

Mohinder is a man who gets taken advantage of all the time. He’s the type who believes the worst in people, but who cannot stop hoping that he’ll find the good there too to prove him wrong. With Kate, he knows what ( ... )

It's really weird for me because I kind of saw the whole Mohinder/Kate/Sylar thing as a parallel to the Jack/Kate/Sawyer triangle, only it was more extreme because of Sylar. He takes the reckless side of Kate to a new level.

This was my first time writing Mohinder's POV so I'm glad he felt right. He's still one of my favorite Heroes characters, and I empathize with him greatly.

Thank you for the feedback! I'm really glad that you liked this :)

Wow. This is an incredibly moving and heartbreaking story. I love the sense of brokenness that pervades it and the way you get into Kate's head is fantastic -- you really capture her sense of conflict and disconnect, feeling disillusioned with herself, knowing who she is but still repeating the same cycle because maybe, just maybe...

I also like how you draw out the contrasts in her life with Sylar and Mohinder. They both represent those extremes, the darkness and the light (though not nearly as black and white as that), brutal acceptance and desperate hope. I also like how you have both Sylar and Mohinder aware of the other's place in her life. It makes for this wonderfully complex and tension filled triangle.

Beautifully done!

Kate will always be my favorite Lost character because she seems the most aware of her own faults, and yet she does tend to carry this sort of optimism that she'll be able to break her own cycle. It's kind of tragic.

I'm glad the triangle came across as complex. I was afraid it would read too much like the Jack/Kate/Sawyer one, and I wanted to take it to a different level with a new set of men.

Thank you for the feedback :) I'm glad you like this!
