OMG...

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH.

This is amazing. There's so much texture and history, the details about the exodus, the war, the explanation for the not-aging---it was all so vivid and detailed and perfect. I'm in complete awe at how seamlessly you weaved three fandoms together.

There are so many things I want to mention. The fact that Annie got them off Earth and managed to get some vamps get kicked out of their seats was so awesome and so very her.

And George! You write him so well, it was George but older and worn around the edges. All of the little details: wishing for a proper pint, flipping out over River being a reader, almost changing after his dream, going all badass over some reavers, offering to let Inara feed on him (Inara as a vampire was a stroke of genius btw)...just guh. George is my absolute favorite Being Human character and you not only did him justice, you pretty much knocked his characterization out of the park

So very glad you liked this. I was nervous about writing Being Human since my only other attempt was a ficlet. George is my favorite also. Something about werewolves I imagine since I LOVE Oz.

The Inara part was inspired by a reference to her unmentioned past on the special features for Firefly.

This was terrific. I loved the little flash back to Oz and the idea that Inara is a Vampire and a friend og Mitchell's. Really enjoyed it

This was fantastic! You are amazing at writing all of the Firefly characters. I'd always thought that this particular assignment would mean something kind of strange to get around the time difference, but obviously, the supernatural creatures could live long enough to just be in the Firefly time. Duh! Silly me. George fit right into the show. And the way you wove the Being Human characters in was also great. Mitchell, no!!!

I love that you made Inara a vampire. I don't know if you've been watching V, but the same actress is on that, and the last couple of episodes were giving me a kind of vampiric feeling about the aliens, so I was already thinking of her in those terms.

The scene with River saving George from the vampire was GREAT. God, I love action!River.

I'm going to add a Buffy tag to this story. The little Oz cameo was wonderful!! The whole thing was wonderful!

Thank you! The Inara part threatened to take over the fic due to prompting and brain-storming with my beta, but after a few bumps, it all worked out. And, I can write a sequel to explore Inara and Mitchell's storyline if I get the inspiration.

This was great. This made me smile because I could see George growing up a little to be this comre competent, more confident individual although I do miss Panic!George. I staarted tearing up when Annie forced them to leave her behind and up to the point before Inara talked to George, I was hoping that somewhere Mitchell was alive.

That got me, that really got me.
