Ooh, I do believe I will have to read this. *sigh* I have a lot of reading to catch up on. I suppose I should finish the half-dozen novels I've already bought that are waiting for me.
and yet the explanation fits neatly into the story
Makes me think of Neil Stephenson's Cryptonomicon. And while his treatise on the proper way to eat Cap'n Crunch isn't on the same tech level as cryptology, it is pure geek.
