The thing that really bothers me (and I mean really) is that the type of sign suggests that it was made in multiples, which means they've had it happen more than once, or have reason to believe that although it's only happened once, it is likely to happen again within their jurisdiction...
Unfortunately, it is. They're closing firehouses all over town. Our incompetent boob of a mayor is driving us into financial ruin, using the sale of capital assets to pay current expenses, purchasing a money-pit hospital from the RCC (which was going to close it), and on and on.
The sign itself, which looks like metal, is actually printed on cardboard. The spelling is, unfortunately, indicative of the quality of education offered in Hoboken public schools.
