[giggles]

Just don't try to make that emergency phone call from any 1960s vintage London police boxes in the vicinity...

Another victim of the Department of Temporal Investigations. They should just stay in the 31st Century where they belong.

Dawno, who wandered here from your post at ML. Great picture!

The thing that really bothers me (and I mean really) is that the type of sign suggests that it was made in multiples, which means they've had it happen more than once, or have reason to believe that although it's only happened once, it is likely to happen again within their jurisdiction...

Unfortunately, it is. They're closing firehouses all over town. Our incompetent boob of a mayor is driving us into financial ruin, using the sale of capital assets to pay current expenses, purchasing a money-pit hospital from the RCC (which was going to close it), and on and on.

The sign itself, which looks like metal, is actually printed on cardboard. The spelling is, unfortunately, indicative of the quality of education offered in Hoboken public schools.

Remember: when the opportunity presents itself, depressurize the main shuttle bay. The tractor-beam trick won't work.
