What really fascinates me with this guy (and his father too, come to that), is the pretence that he's an expert on literally *everything*. Ordinary dictators go tour, say, the tire factory, to emphasize how important tires are to the revolution. They get a quick lesson on how tires are made (which, if the plant manager is on the ball, is also a plausibly deniable lesson on what things the dictator can do differently to help the tire industry), and then meet and greet the workers and tell them what a great job they're doing. No-one expects him to actually understand much about making tires afterward, no matter how sharp he is. They hope he takes away stuff like if the electricity goes out and the presses cool down, you spoil a bunch of raw material, and lose way more production time than just the hour the power was out
