He did already advise those who can't afford fuel to organize carpools, which is pretty much a "let them eat cake" for rural people. Oddly, I think there's a tennis ball at the lower right in the picture, too. Antique or not, that's a godawful expensive desk and furnishings to be playing with his dog in that room.

Edit: You can have your own for $8700, and $525 to deliver. Such a deal!
