Being bored at work is bad. Obvious.

But being bored at work, whilst being able to access LJ, is another matter entirely.

Glad I could be of some help. And I completely understand the "too much choice" thing--I was just telling someone recently that I've narrowed my storytelling focus a bit over the years--not completely jettisoning other possibilities but just not concentrating on them right now--and that definitely feels like it's helped.

Paid accounts= a must.

I like them muchly... in fact, I can't imagine I would use LJ half so much if I were subjected to ads.

I am addicted to icons (my 115 spaces are not nearly enough), so I have to give a paid account a big thumbs-up.

You would make an awesome radio personality! And I think it is great that you are not being derailed by setbacks and are taking the very positive way instead of beating yourself up. Plus, I think you rock and am always impressed by the cool things you are able to do. I would never be able to do stand-up.

Paid account! I LOVE my paid account! It is made of awesome! Not only no ads, not only many icons, but also the ability to post polls, read other people's posts in your preferred layout/color style, and have access to more layout options! Life is good with a paid account! :)
