▌prologue:
"Jino, come here!"
Five year old Jinho glanced over his shoulder before getting up and walking over to his grandfather, "Yes, grandpa?"
"Sit," the old man said, patting the spot next to him. Jinho crawled onto the couch and looked up at his grandfather, "I'm going to tell you a story."
Jinho grinned and clapped his hands, "Yay!"
Jinho's grandfather wrapped his arm around Jino and smiled at him, "Have you heard of 'The Fable'?"
"No," Jinho replied, shaking his head, "What is it?"
"It is a story of five beings with powers so great, they can save the world. Five young males of different origin and they must fight to save the world from evil, but they must do it together," Jinho's grandfather explained.
The little boy stared in interest, "What if one doesn't?"
"They world would end," he replied, smiling sadly.
"No! Grandpa! I'll help!" Jinho yelled, dedication in his eyes.
Jinho's grandfather smiled at his grandson, "I know you will."
---
Seven years later...
Jinho's grandfather died of a stroke. Jinho was growing up and eventually lost all interest in 'The Fable'. He only cared about his friend and his mp3.
Now he was next to his mother, staring down at his grandfather's casket, listening to his mothers cried. He just stared until his eyes caught sighed of a man a few yards away.
Jinho had never seen that man before and if he was someone his grandfather knew, why wasn't he with everyone else?
As people started to disperse, Jino snuck away from them and walked to the man. He knew better, but something drew him in.
"Who are you?" Jinho asked.
"Jungmin."
"What are you here?"
Jungmin smiled, "To see you,
Jinho tilted his head, "Why?"
Jungmin knelled down and smiled at Jinho, "In five years, you'll meet five boys. Each of different origin. You must bring them together."
"Why?"
"Because we'll need them. I will see you soon," the older male replied before standing up,
Jinho watched him walk away, confusion etched in his features. Why did all that sound familiar?
"Jino! Let's go!"
He looked at his mother and called to her before running to her.
---
Five years later...
Jinho stared up at the building, disgust on his face.
"Honey, relax. A new environment will be good for you. Trust me," his mother assured, walking past him.
He sighed, "Yeah, then why do I feel like the world is about to end?"
---
Dark eyes watched the figure closely. By his facial expression, he didn't look happy.
"Because it will."
