A co-worker of mine has family in New Orleans. Unfortunately, they lost their home to the hurricane and their 4 pets. :( I feel unbelievably bad about this. They are staying with relatives in Florida but the kids are having the worst time adjusting without their beloved animals. I can't imagine how upset they must be. Ah, the joys of moving...AGAIN. The only thing less fun than moving is trying to pack with only one good hand. But I really think I am healing quite nicely and Monday the doc is taking the 20 stitches out of my two fingers. If there is one thing I hate more than anything in this world, it's waking up early. I have to be at work at 8:45, which isn't too terrible, but I had to be at a meeting at 7:45 this morning.
